Secondary products created in the sawmill such as cross-cuts or other wood scraps can be processed into wood chips. A chipping system mechanically shreds the wood scraps. This equipment enables us to precisely determine the grade, size and shape of the chipped wood.
Wood chips are also used in a variety of applications, e.g. for manufacturing pulp for the paper industry, producing oriented strand board (OSB) for furniture construction or pressing into pellets for heating purposes. Additional areas of use include equestrian arenas, horticulture and agriculture.
